Your time and talents can help Heartstrings fulfill its mission. There are many different ways you can directly help families participating in our support programs and/or ways you can support our many outreach efforts throughout the Triad. 

Everyone is welcome to be a part of the Heartstrings family—being a bereaved parent is not a requirement.  Anyone can make a difference in the lives of people who are hurting in our community. To learn about the many different ways you can join the Heartstrings family, please click here.

Winston-Salem Support Group begins March 22nd, 2012

If you or someone you know has experienced the tragic death of a baby from conception to one year of age you may consider joing our support group.  The Heartstrings Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group is a place where you can express your feelings to others who have felt the pain of losing a baby, who have struggled with the same questions, and who have reluctantly given up the lives they too had counted on and are now trying to find the courage to move on. This group consists of 8 sessions over 12 weeks.  Our group meets every Thursday for 4 consecutive weeks and then every other week for 4 weeks.  We will meet at Hospice.  Please contact Mary Schultz at marys@heartstringssupport.org or call (336) 335-9931.
